So I just watched Candice's audition video again and she says she's done
about 20 photo shoots already???? ...but she's NERVOUS FUCKING NELLIE
..what the hell is WRONG with this picture? Did I mention that when she
arrived at my front door she was speaking on a WALKIE TALKIE??!! She was
letting her boyfriend (who was patrolling somewhere in the vicinity)
know that she had made it to the front door. I answered the door and I'm
looking at her like "huh? are you on a reconnaissance mission or
something?....uh, 10-4 good buddy I'm looking at Matt right now and he
doesn't SEEM like a pervert".
Well, anyway, I'd call it a good illustration of the fucking whacked out
nature of this industry I'm in.
My guess is this: If she's done 20 photo shoots already...a majority of
them were with HOBBYISTS or people doing it for their portfolio or fun.
Let me also make it VERY CLEAR that NOT ALL hobbyists or portfolioists
are freaks. However (and I've talked about this before): the internet
has opened up a gigantic risk for models. I'm not saying it's
necessarily dangerous to meet a guy on the net and agree to take your
clothes off for money in the privacy of his home, but people have to ask
themselves this: Would YOU let your girlfriend, best friend or sister do
that? Hmmmmm....maybe a walkie talkie, stun gun and MACE would be a
better idea? :)
I'd also like to add that photographers doing this shit for PERSONAL
reasons (to GET OFF) don't have to worry as much about their
REPUTATIONS, thus they don't need to be as "professional" on shoots - if
you know what I mean.
That's my 2 cents again and I don't try to sneak my dick into the pics.
Well, at least NOT WITHOUT ASKING POLITELY LOL HA HA.
PS...Candice and I now regularly correspond and she's referring me
models.
