My introduction to Lauren came through this email:
"Hi,
My name is Lauren. I am a college student, and I am
21 years old. My boyfriend told me about this site and thought I might be
interested in modeling for it. I am attaching a couple of pictures of
myself, that, although they are not the best quality, will give you an
idea of what I look like. Let me know if you would be interested in working with
me, and if so, I would like to get some more information about it to
consider. Thanks,
Lauren"
I wrote her back:
"Dear Lauren,
Although you are relatively pretty girl, you just don't have what it
takes to be a Matt's Model.
Thanks for sending your submission"
........NOT!!!!!!!!!!
I started talking to her in email and she expressed her concern over
doing explicit photos.
She didn't want to do anything too explicit that would interfere with
her chances of other
modeling or acting....and it's just a "personal comfort thing, its
really just the whole hustler style pink shot thing that bothers me!
What are your thoughts?"
She asked me - so I gave her my thoughts:
"I shot a model several months ago, Jesse.
She was on the cover of Perfect 10 Oct/Nov 2000, worked for me and bunch of
other mags. She did a bunch of open leg work and SOME "pink" stuff.
Since I shot her she has been on Howard Stern, an HBO Movie and is on
Battledome TV show every week (making BANK)...my point is that I DON'T
REALLY THINK IT MATTERS (in terms of your CAREER - if its your PERSONAL
thing, that is another issue).
In fact I more likely subscribe to the theory that it * HELPS * your
career. Tracy Lords is one example (not that I recommend you do porn)
and Pamela Lee (that stupid movie of her with Tommy Lee not only helped
her career but CATAPULTED IT)....it MADE HER 50 TIMES MORE FAMOUS and
FASCINATING (go figure).
Thats how our society is. We LOVE to SAY we hate sex when the truth is:
WE LOVE IT."
Those are my thoughts.
So we had a discussion about the industry and Lauren turned out to be a
very smart and cool babe.
She agreed to come out and shoot for me but not to do "pink"...and
that's exactly what we did.
I flew her out the weekend of Feb 22.
Lauren's photos speak for themselves (I'm actually not happy with MY
work that weekend, I had too much going on - but SHE is amazing) She is
5' 9" and all legs.
The funny thing is about how Lauren found me. Her boyfriend was a member
of my site. Several months back he had emailed me saying he loved
"smoking" photos....and if I had any more smoking pics (at the time he
never mentioned he had such a rockin girlfriend ha ha). He then told
Lauren that I seemed like a nice guy (come live with me before you make
that judgement ha ha ha) and she contacted me. He lives in California,
and when she came out I met him. He is a way cool guy who resembles
Timothy Hutton and a screenwriter who just sold a script. It turns out
that he was a big fan of Tammy from my site :) Me too :)
So...Lauren will be out here again for a week starting March 25th. I
will have a chance to redeem myself and I'm gonna get her on the Live
show for sure.
